Please tell Ore's Hardware, Dollar General and Ore's Pharmacy that I will no longer be shopping in their establishments. I cannot chance a $100.00 fine for driving at the breakneck speed of 22 mph in a 15 mph zone. Capitol St in Charleston with it's much higher number of autos and pedestrians does not have a speed limit that low.

The Country Times has designated this guestbook entry to John and Pam Kiser of Roanoke, Va. Formerly of Clendenin. John and Pam Kiser need your prayers and words of encouragement. John is diagnosed with cancer. His cancer is of the blood & bone marrow called Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. He was in remission, but his last tests showed the disease is back. He is starting a new treatment that can be helpful, but also dangerous. John was in the Clendenin Fire Department, and Pam was active in the CVFD Ladies Auxiliary. They both were very active in the community. Please leave your prayers and comments to help them get through a stumbling block in their life.
Directions: Click on “Leave Comment”, it is the little pencil and paper icon at the top of this post. Leave a name (optional), write a comment, type in the code, and hit submit.
Sug Sams:

Hi John & Pam, It is good to say HI to you guys.We had some fun times in our younger days and it's good to set back and think about them sometimes. John you and I had lot of good times and some hard work in the Fire Department that I would not trade for anything. John did you ever learn to shoot pool? Me either. John you and Pam will be in my prayers and I will think about you guys every day.
