The Country Times has teamed up with area businesses to sponsor TWO WV Big Buck Contests this year! The Country Times, Brian’s Auto and Ore’s Hardware in Clendenin WV have teamed together to sponsor a Big Buck Contest in the Clendenin WV area. West Virginia deer hunters get ready! The first place hunter will win $100 and a 4X16 scope. The second place hunter will win a Case Knife!
AND. . . The Country Times and Service Plus Auto is sponsoring a Big Buck Contest in the Elkview WV area where you could win $250 "bucks" for the deer with the most points. You can win both contests by checking them in at the place of entry. Please see the rules and check-in procedures below.

The rules are simple, here is how to WIN the
Clendenin Big Buck Contest:

Boone & Crocket style measuring. |

Must have the deer tagged by a state approved station. |
| 3. |
Must have picture taken with Buck, your name, ballpark location of the kill to be published in The Country Times. (can't give up secret location) |

Contest starts the first day of West Virginia bow season and ends the last day of gun season (October 16th-Decemeber 5th). |
